The Life Story Book

Your life story deserves more than a recording. It deserves to be preserved in a form that can be held, read, and passed down for generations.

The Life Story Book is available as a companion to a legacy film or as a standalone experience created through a remote guided audio interview.

Each book is thoughtfully edited into a cohesive, story-driven narrative, which can include a family tree and up to 20 family photographs woven throughout, bringing each chapter to life.

Produced in a professional 6 × 9 memoir format, every volume features a matte hardcover finish, elegant interior pages, and a gold ribbon bookmark.

About the Filmmaker

Douglas is a documentary filmmaker from Orange County, CA. He holds a Master of Peace and Conflict from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor’s from UCLA. His work has screened at festivals including the Glendale and Newport Beach Film Festivals.

His work grew from researching his own family ancestry and recognizing how easily stories can be lost with time. He created Family Legacy Films to help individuals preserve their life history in a thoughtful, private conversation, creating a personal film families can return to for generations.
