I'm Steve Liss,
the director of Boston Filmworks.
My father was my hero.
He was a small-town lawyer shaped by the hardships of the Depression and World War II. And he told stories that would have made wonderful oral histories. But now, only the pictures remain. And with each passing year they fade just a little bit more.
Today, I can offer you what I wish I had: Our Emmy and Pulitzer Prize-winning team will craft a film worthy of you or of a beloved family member. Our interviews are warm and thoughtful, capturing the tones, gestures, anecdotes, wisdom and memories that define each of us. Our editors blend the interviews with treasured family photos, videos and music to create a beautiful film that will be passed on and cherished by generations.
